Olá mundo!

My name is Mariana, I am a passionate and enthusiastic 2D Animator with a proven
international track in animation projects. 

I graduated with a degree in Animation from L’Institut Supérieur des Arts Appliqués in Paris,
France, in 2008. I was fortunate to begin my professional career at Prima Linea Animation
Studio in Angoulême, where I worked on the film "L'homme à la Gordini" by Jean-Christophe
Lie, a well-recognized animation project that was nominated for Best Animated Feature at the
César Awards.

Upon returning to Portugal, I took on the challenge of teaching 2D Animation at Escola
Profissional de Imagem (EPI) in Lisbon for two years.

From 2010 to 2015, I worked at BangBang Animation Studio, contributing as an animator to
the TV show "Nutri Ventures". Since 2016, I have been collaborating with Boulder Media
Studios (Dublin, Ireland) on various animation projects and TV shows, such as "Little Pet
Shop", "Rescue Bots Academy", and "Transformers: BotBots". It was through Boulder Media
that I also had the opportunity to work as both a Revisionist and 2D Animator on the Netflix
show "Danger Mouse".

In 2021, I proudly joined the animation team at Lighthouse Studios, working on the Newbery
Honor Award-winning graphic novel adaptation "El Deafo" and continued collaborating with
Boulder Media Studios on the TV show "Captain Fall".

In 2022, I worked on "Zeina's Detective Agency" for Baby TV with Pill Animation Studios
(Israel). The following year, in 2023, I contributed to the adult animated series "Mr. Birchum"
at Wise Blue Studios (Valencia) and also worked on "Mr. Bean" (Season 4) at DogHead Studios
(Florence, Italy) as well as on the production of "Super Happy Magic Forest" at Letko Studios.

At present, I am working with Red Monk Studio in Milan, Italy, on the project "Harrisin & Me",
though I am always eager for new challenges and opportunities to further develop my skills.
